Brainstorm for Allusive Poem

I am thinking of writing my allusive poem on a Hawaiian goddess. I was thinking of writing about Hi'iaka goddess of hula. I chose her because i love to dance hula. Also, I want to compare how well i am related to Hi'iaka.

Something is in the Air

Once you hear the sounds of fireworks in the air, you know that New Year's Eve or 4th of July is close by. People in Hawaii have the privilage to pop fireworks legally on New Year's Eve or 4th of July unlike the rest of the states. Unfortunately, Hawaii has been taking advantage of that privilage. Every year, it seems that the popping of fireworks are worse. Each year, more people are popping illegal fireworks and are causing many frights in Hawaii. This past New Year's, where I was celebrating New Year's, people where popping illegal fireworks non-stop. Also, each time it seems that as the bombs kept going off, the louder it got. Living on a small island, the sounds echo througout the island. This isn't good for people you get scared easily and may cause them to have a heart attack. I thing, popping fireworks on New Year's Eve or 4th of July should be limited to keep Hawaii in a safe place.
